Savage Stevens 200 Project

I was running through some old photos and came across some early shots of one of my rifles.

It started off as a Stevens Model 200 by savage chambered in .308 (Sorry early photos are poor quality)

I then purchased a B&C Medalist stock

After some time I took the rifle to my gunsmith Jose Somarriba for the following jobs:

-Installation of new Heavier Fluted Barrel 26'' 1-10twist
-Glass Bedding of Stock
-Jeweled Bolt
-Timney Trigger @ 2lb.

As for glass, I am currently running a millet lrs2 6-25x with a 20MOA rail.

At 100 yards she can shoot 3 shot groups under .50'' with 168gr Berger BTHP.

Really cool, I like the Stevens project builds. I've wanted to do a basic 223 build on one for a long time. I may do it this fall.

Anyway, handsome rifle!

Awesome I just picked up one in 22-250 price right for a potential project to mess with. Still haven't decided what caliber yet.
