Savage target action RECOIL LUG QUESTION

I'm thinking about ordering a stainless steel Savage target action (18184) and I see that it is advertised as having a target grade "milled" recoil lug on with the front and back sides are SUPPOSED TO BE accurate and square to the bore of the action and bolt face that it comes with. What I can't seem to find is any real data concerning this lug such as dimensions. Particularly what I want to know is how thick they are. Has anyone on here had one of these actually in their hands and, hopefully, actually measured it and checked to see how accurately made it is? If so, I SURE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR what they found....SO....IF ANYONE has one of these and can tell me more about it than the web sites have to say, I really want to hear from you!1 Please email me at [email protected] of just PM me on this site if you can help me out here! I am tring to figure out if the stock recoil lug really is a good one or if I'd be accuracy ahead to just part with the 30 or so bucks to get an aftermarket one....and the aftermarket ones seem to be available from several sources.....OH, YEAH...there also seem to be aftermarket barrel nuts that are supposed to be better than the stock ones....anything to be really gained here???

Thanks!!

I have a 6.5x47 built on a RBLP action. Used the lug that came with it but had the barrel fit rem style. No action work was done, and it shoots quarter inch or better on the regular. I'm not worried with chasing anything else. I would measure for you, but to do it right it needs to be uninstalled.
