Rifle Scopes Schmidt/Bender Short dot 1x8

I emailed S/B this past spring regarding their release of the 1x8 short dot and a return email stated a release time of October 2014. I suppose one email is enough but has anyone have knowledge of this to be true or know something else?

I'm not holding my breath, I've heard they were coming for a few years now.

I've waited so long I just just gave up and started outfitting rifles as they've needed glass. When they show, they show. But I no longer have any faith in anything S&B says when it comes to product introduction dates/availability.

I waited for a year to buy one before I deployed. I kept being told in a couple of months or this summer. I waited until a month out and bought a CQBSS, couldn't have been happier with how it performed. They would have to come out with some gucci ass shit for me to change now.
