Any word on when S&B plans to release LRR reticle? I know initial plans were Summer 2017. Are they still planning on releasing it?

At Shot Show in Jan, the SB rep said that they should be available by April (this month), but I haven't heard anything further.

I wonder if etching a reticle in an optic with such a high zoom ratio is the issue . Look at
how fine the centre ( illuminated ) detail is in the LRR compared to an illuminated 5-40 March .
Here is a reticle out of a 5-40 next to a standard BIC cigarette lighter . This is an 8x zoom
design , the 45 Schmidt is 9x , and the upcoming March Genesis is 10x zoom . They are
really pushing the boundaries of laser etching technology with these designs .

No doubt that it is a very challenging task. My gripe is the premature announcement. They do this all of the time. This reticle AND a new turret assembly were announced at the 2017 SHOT. I would assume that being S&B, they know the complexities well enough to be able to quantify the time it takes to make it ready for production.

Agreed. I bought a 7-35 with MIL-C and am pretty happy but will likely buy a 5-45 with LRR if and when it ever emerges
I’m wondering if this reticle will be too fine for a 5-25. Will you be able to see it at say 12 power?
