May be I'm blind but I don't think I have seen this posted yet.. I would think that this would have been at least a topic here.. I have noticed that it has not gotten much press. Well no where near as much as if a gun was involved

I think discussing violence is the cause of violence and ditto for resisting violent people.

These "tradgedies" would stop if everyone would just put their index fingers in their ears and say "LA, LA, LA, LA" when violent subjects are discussed as well when confronted with a violent person the proper posture is to expose your juglar and submit to them showing your superiority. The police are coming and they will get help for the violent person after you are gone.

I dont understand why people cant figure this out.

As an aside, yesterday I got a slight wiff of fire extinguisher chemical. A smalll amount seemed to instantly dry my nasal passages and the back of my throat out. Cant imagine how effective someone would be with four or five extinquishers worth of dry chem in their face. Problem is those using the extinguisher would likely incapacitate themselves with overspray so you need a secondary team to come in when the attacker is on his knees and use an empty extinguisher like a bludgeon and try to push it from the back of his head, through his face and six inches into the floor he is retching on.

I wonder when one of the usual suspects will call for a ban on "high-length knives" - if the blades were only 1" in length, there would be less severe injuries and fewer victims. Of course we also need to ban the semi-automatic assault versions that have serrations and look nasty. Lastly, no one has a need for more than one knife (school knifer used two) so our children would be so much safer if we restricted the ownership of knives to one per person.

I here what your saying about not talking about violence like this BUT! I don't agree I think that any name or mention of the person committing the crime should not be discussed as a matter of fact I thing that the name of the person or persons involved should never be public info. Most of them want the recognition. They want to go out being known as the WORST!

not talking about is the same as not being prepared for such an occurrence if every one thinks it is not going on than they are left to assume that it is safe now. That's a mistake.

I just find it revealing how fast the story died
