Hi folks,
Just getting started in precision rifle; I'll be making my rifle purchase (hopefully) in a month or so. Although I'm not really new to rifles, I am brand new to reading and utilizing a scope. Previously I just used a scope to get on target, not bothering to learn how to use the reticle. Can anyone recommend some good resources (books, videos, etc) for learning about scopes for someone who, realistically, knows nothing about them. Unless I missed something, it seems as though the videos on SH are geared more towards someone who has a basic working knowledge of scopes. I know Sig Academy teaches a course on choosing, setting up and using a scope, but I thought it would be helpful to absorb as much info as possible before I think about a course. Also, if anyone is in the southern Maine or southeast NH and would be willing to go over some of the basics with me that would be cool too. I appreciate you guys. Thanks in advance.
