Rifle Scopes Scope for 500-800 yards

I'm having a .257 Weatherby Magnum built for hunting/targets. I will be using it on groundhogs, coyotes, and deer anywhere from 300 out and im trying to decide on the glass. I'm leaning towards a Swarovski Z5 in 3.5-18x or 5-25x. What would better suit my needs

if you dont ever plan on shooting under 300 yds either will work. if you ocasionally will be taking 50yd shoots id go with the 3.5-18.

Thanks guys. I have rifles for closer range hunting with 1-4x 3-9x and 4-12x scopes for everyday hunting so that's not an issue. I'm just wondering if the 25x is "overkill" and will be a waste of $200
