Scope for new savage 12FV

Hey guys, I'm getting a new savage 12FV pretty soon and I need to know of a good, but cheap, Nikon scope. Any suggestions?

my neighbors have a Nikon on one of their 12FV and they haven't had any troubles with them. And cheap, because I don't need all that fancy of a scope because my farthest shot might be at most 200 yards.

Well it doesn't necessarily need to be a Nikon I just need some good ideas on cheap but decent scopes.

I'd say a used Bushnell elite 6-24 Tactical. It can be had for under $500 and it's proven and has pretty good glass.

Can you give us s budget? I don't think we know what "cheap" is yet? Some folks on here think $1,000. Is cheap maybe you think it is less or more?

Vortex Viper was what I went with for my affordable scope, before upgrading to a SWFA.

Good glass, good turrets. Solid rifle. I had no problems using it to shoot out to 1000yards.

One con is it's a little difficult to get behind, but Vortex might have fixed that issue.

swfa super sniper. clear glass, repeatable clicks, dependable, hands down best deal for your price range.

Nikon aren't bad. But for compareable money you can do alot better.

another vouch for the Viper; I owned the 6.5-20x44 BDC before upgrading to a PST. Awesome scope for the price, the best warranty, and great resale value.
