Hey guys, gonna ask a little help here. I'm looking at putting a scope on my Mosin Nagant and I'm wanting some opinions here. I don't want to go long range type optics, but I'm unsure on what magnification range I should get. I feel like 1-4 is to low and something that goes to 10 is probably towards the upper end. I'm looking at something "medium" range capable I guess I would say. 3-500yds tops.....I think. It's also going to be mounted out front always, like a scout type scope. Got a rail to attach to the existing front sight. It will eliminate my iron sights though, so it's gotta be low enough for up close type situations too. What do you guys think I should do for magnification? Of course budget is always an issue, but I'm not as concerned about brands here as thoughts or opinions. Thanks, Jason
