Rifle Scopes Scope Suggestions

I recently built a 18" ar 15 for plinking, shooting steel (out to 600 yards), and the occasional coyote hunt. I started with a primary arms 1-6 gen 3 with acss, but it just wasn't for me. My eyes need something with more magnification and slightly less busy reticle. So, any suggestions for something in the 4-12 or 16 range FFP with a $500 budget. Used is ok also. My current mount is 30mm, so prefer that tube size in order to avoid buying another mount.

If you're not opposed to a fixed scope the swfa 10x with mil quad reticle is $300 and their upcoming Black Friday sale it'll be marked down to $225 to $250 if like most years. You just can't beat it for the price.

It'll be a bit before they're available again, but the Bushnell Match Pro would be a great option. I've been running one on my 22LR for a while, and it's a damn good scope for the money, and far better than the price tag would lead you to believe.

Athlon Midas TAC 4-16x44 with APRS2 reticle. It’s around $515 but I figure you can handle a $15 difference above the budget.
