Rifle Scopes Scope test targets?

In all likelihood, my search fu is inferior. Searched here, and on the scout site trying to find a recommendation for targets to use in testing a new scope's tracking, with no luck. It looks like the Horus CATS targets are dead (at least, I haven't found them anywhere). Is there another good, pre-made target (or PDF file that can be printed on a wide format printer) out there that I haven't run across, yet?

Use a 4ft level it's easier and just as accurate, the problem with the test targets is they don't get shot and are hard and expensive to make. We tried making them and it was a no-go from the printer.

Take a 4ft Level, put the reticle on the top, dial up your elevation with the rifle bagged in and it will run the level and you can count the clicks and determine the accuracy.

Mile High Shooting does have the SH targets with a smaller scope test scale on the site, it's 7 mils I think, but otherwise a level a is a good option.

We typically buy a huge roll of white butcher paper. 30"x500' Its cheap. Mount it to a large flat backstop, then like LL says above take a minimum 36" level and make yourself 2-3 vertical lines on the paper. Use a really heavy profile black marker. 36" gets you 10 mils. If you have access to an engineering ruler, or anything that allows you to measure in tenths of an inch, make your marks (or place a black dot) every 3.6" vertically on your line. Trick is, you have to make sure that line is perfectly vertical, and keep your shooting position square to the target.

Do you find the weight of the rifle to normally be enough to test for tracking accuracy?

after observing KSEs test with that massive I beam I figured you needed some serious weight to get by with that?...

If you have a heavy rifle bagged in, I can't see turning the turrets moving the rifle enough to throw off your whole test. It will track or it won't. KSE's humbler just simply ensures that any shift down to 1/10 of a mil is in the optic.
