Hi. I just thought I would ask here before I went ahead and bought the gun. What is the twist rate for the SPS tactical stage 1 rifle offered at Scout supply co., 1-10 or 1-12? Thank you.

i agree. i have sent him a message in the past and he is a pretty stand up guy and will answer any question you may have. i plan on getting some work done buy him soon hopefully after the holidays but currently trying to see how accurate i can get the current rifle as it sits. once i think my hand loads aren't as accurate as i like them to be i will be sending it to him to have it completely retuned and re-barreled.

Another plug for Russ, he is a great smith and is very good about CS and answering any questions you might have. I would even suggest you checking to see if he has any AAC-SD's to accurize, he may be able to get it cheaper than you and that would save costs of you buying and shipping to him. He does a lot of Remington actions.

let him buy the AAC for you and accurize it. You will save money that way. I did. I had him accurize a 243 sps varmint. He saved me over $100
