Starting my search for a new optic for my RRA Lar-8 w/16" barrel. Shooting out to 600 yds and as close as 75. Would like to stay under $500. Mil-dot or bdc reticle. All of ya'lls help and insight would be great!

Check out the Nikon M223 2-8x32. Perfect mag range for your distances. They have the scope and mount combo kit for about $400. You can also match your load with the BDC reticle and Nikon's Spot On software. You'll have a printout of all your holdover points for any magnification at any distance. Great scopes. I've used a quite a few on very different platforms. walked one out on a DPMS 308 from 100 yards to 650 yards on 8'' plates...amazed how well it worked.
