Re: see through scope mounts??
I can attest to the repeat zero of QD rings in both the leupold QRW and Warne. I had zero change in POI with the QRWs after about 5 years of use on my stupid-accurate bolt rifle, and I had to take the scope off EVERY TIME I put it in my hardcase for transport....so somewhere around 8 bagillion attach/removals. Honestly, they didnt move 1/2" from zero, EVER. I was always careful to return the levers to the exact position and to slide the key lugs forward on the picatinney rail so they made solid lug contact on the key.
Ive only had the Warnes for 6 months, but after 20+ removals Ive noticed no shift. These rings are on a less accurate AR (1-2 MOA) so I cant be AS accurate with zero deviation, but if its there its definetly less than an inch.
Im a big fan of having back-up sights, shit happens, and with two full lever rotations the scope is off and irons are ready to rock. The longest part of the process is finding a place to set the scope once its off.
