Night Vision Seeking advice on the Pulsar Helion XP-50 Monocular

Considering the Pulsar Helion XP-50 Monocular. Seeking advice and experience. What do you like and what do you not like about it? How does the Pulsar compare image wise and detection range with the Trijicon IR Patrol.

They’re decent thermals but IMO nothing compares to the BAE 640 cores that Trijicon uses. The detail is absolutely amazing.

You see a bunch of gently used Pulsar stuff for sale, not much Trijicon. As someone who owns the Patrol and has tried out some Pulsars, I can see why. There will be no Pulsar in my collection.

trijicon stuff is awesome. that said the xp-50 is going to smoke the patrol for long range detection and image simply due to its 50mm lens. ive used the patrol side by side the helion so im not guessing.

i have had the helion xp38 and the xp 50. both are great handheld thermals. do i think they're on par build quality-wise to tijicon/ir...not a at all but they also come in $2-3k cheaper while providing some nice features like the built in recording/hard drive. some dont care about that but many do and its nice to have once you use it,

if you go comparing weapon sights...trijicon hands down
