Hello,
I'm thinking about getting a seekins DMR in 223 Wylde. I would get it with an 18 inch barren instead of the stock 16 In. Does anyone have any experience with this rifle, and what do you guys think about it? Any input would be great.
Thanks!

Im a huge Seekins fan. I build my own and have a Seekins up/lower with a V7 Barrel. Seekins is all Ill buy when it comes to a Billet set up. Happy with my SP10 as well in 6.5. Next to the old MEGAs......its Seekins for me!! Although.......I really want to try a V7 set.
Its been a while But I do believe Gap is still using Seekins for thier builds.

Hayden.

I am a Seekins fan too. I have a 3G2 which is the DMR with a 18” barrel. It shoots lights out for me. I really like their stuff. I have a 6.5 SP-10 too. The 18” barrel gets me a little more speed. I shot IMI razorcore ammo for LR stuff. I hunt with it too. The rail is great too. The flat bottom is one of my favorite things. The DMR is not truly ambidextrous like the SP-10. If you want truly ambidextrous then go with the American Defense lower with a Seekins Upper. I went with Seekins lastly because it have everything I was going to do at a good price and a better price with a coupon.

I just got one of their DMR uppers and threw it on one of their older SP223 lowers. I too wanted the 18” barrel but they didn’t offer it anymore for their uppers. I’ve got a 20” proof carbon on order for it though as I’m wanting to get as much speed as possible for the little 223. Fit and finish is fantastic. Barrel is heavy but balances well. Rifle pictured is 11 lbs with optic

Got a 3g2 upper on way with 18” barrel. Got a aero precision lower built to put on it - eventually sp223 lower to complete build. New glass too- vortex strike Eagle 3-18x44. Can’t wait to shoot it

I am also looking at the 3g2 and trying to find a price that is not full retail. Anyone know where I should look for the best price. Thanks.

I bought a 3g2 upper on Optics planet on sale, free shipping and 10% coupon last night. Buying sp223 lower directly from Seekins.

I will try and hunt up a 10% coupon code and buy the upper tomorrow. Thanks for the info.

I order the upper from Opticplanet but it looks like I will have to wait up to 30 days to get it. During the wait I think I will order a new trigger for the lower. Probably pick up the Calvin Elite AR trigger set at 1.5lbs.

I am stuck waiting for my upper to ship too. I ordered a Timney competition ar trigger, stripped sp223 lower, Seekins pro comp 10x and build kit.
the waiting begins!

Picked up a Noveske 18" barrel from a local Shop the other day. 15" Noveske Rail and BCG as well. All going on a Seekins upper again. Im liking the Noveske and V7 Rails. The smaller Diameter fits my hands better. Looking forward to seeing what this barrel can do.

I had Garagegunz build me some ammo. They are a local manufacturer in SC. I told them to use the 77SMK and push it as fast as you can with the best SD and stay safe. This is what they were able to do. It took 3 shots for them to cut the card at 100yds.

The owner said he wasn’t much of an AR guy but loved the rifle and was thinking of getting one. 😉

How tight is the barrel/upper fit on that seekins?
