Gunsmithing Seekins Precision BM install?

I need a Seekins .338 BM installed on my 700LA. .013 needs to be milled out of the rear of the action (Bolt stops I think) and also my stock.

I've checked with Glenn Seekins and Shawn Carlock but neither of them have time to do it. Can anybody recommed someone here on the hide that has experience with this.

Sooner rather than later would be nice. I'd hate to have a $350 piece of useless steel sitting around for nothing.

have you considered CDI bottom metal? i used it on my last rifle and he inletted the stock for a very reasonable price. turnaround time was a couple of days. something to think about anyway.

I did but unfortunantly the CDI magazine does not allow for a long enough COAL. The Seekins is 3.96 I believe, CDI isn't close. I did talk to Jeff (If I remember right) a while back about it and am planning on him doing some work for me in the future but I'm sticking with Seekins on this one.

I got a Dremel tool for Christmas, and I gotta say, I'm gettin purdy good with her....

I thought maybe there were some good gunsmiths/machinists in Mford. Good luck bro!

GAP, Predator custom shop, RD precision have all installed them. If you have a local smith with a milling machine he could make quick work of it too.
