Although I've used 59.0 H-4350 under the 175 gr. SMK (vel will be in the 2850 range, and this load is well published), for many years, if I was going to do a LR 30-06 today I would be working only with the Hornady 208 gr A-Max and RL-22. I won't tell you exact charge weights, but starting at 54 grains and working up to near 59 grains (MAX), will yield velocities in the low 2725's. That's fast and flat and will reach to 1400 yds and will rival the best 6.5 loads for drop and drift @1kyds. But it do kick a bit.
Please work up all loads from below, DON'T Shortcut just because it is a pet load and safe in somebodies else's rifle....
