Stores that sell in bulk (Costco and Sam’s Club) around here have been picked over pretty good, but not cleaned out like a full-on panic buy yet. No bleach/Lysol/hand sanitizer/disinfectant wipes to be found anywhere. I go for the people watching, comfortable in the knowledge that I am prepared and don’t have to be there last minute looking for essentials for my family.

Magically, with Swine Flu and Ebola when Obama was in office...... no such news covers exist.....

This coronavirus thing hasn't been going around for THAT long for the Time Magazine covers to catch up yet, but I'd bet money it's going to be similar to the treatment GW got.

True, but in the age of instant social media, and many social media platforms accessible at once, such levels of ionizing excitement can trigger the already antsy and jittery segments of the population into downright frenzy... Here in NY the level of virus related autism has seen a dramatic increase over the past 3 days or so. Yesterday a brawl between two hoodrats and their peeps on an uptown No. 1 train was triggered because one dude thought another guy from the opposing party had coughed in his direction. Quickly turned into shit talking, a lot of shoving and a few fists being flung.

My "pandemic" preparations for this year involve more of dealing with potential autism spilling into my personal space, than dealing with the actual contracting of the illness...

Our scientific institutions are WAY behind in the discovery of new medical breakthroughs because too much funding is being diverted into 'climate change', gender research and general woke nonsense. If the people really want a target for their anger, they can start with the leftist scumbags in office who are responsible for this shifting of our society's most important priorities...

If this kind of thing gets repeated and circulated in full viral fashion just like the "Epstein didn't kill himself" movement, it can be devastating to the entire leftist platform and even make their members targets of murderous violence... And I wouldn't give a fuck either...
