Shim stock in co- ax?

Mine is in another town. Is it possible to put shim stock in the bottom jaw so you can shim brass up in controlled amounts?
Of course only a few thousandths and remove any decap stuff.

I use very thin stainless washers from .001-.005 on either side of Forster die collars to set proper setback, depending on temper of cases from annealing, and also for multiple chambers of barrels in same caliber with slightly different chamber dimensions. I cut a small section of washer out to create a ‘U’ that is a bit easier to slip in without creating any alignment issues. Works well in my experience.
