Some people learn by reading...
some people learn by watching .and
some people just have to piss on the electric fence to see for themselves.....

Today's safety lesson......N-E-V-E-R,? E-V-E-R, urinate on a 220 volt 3 phase electric fence!

Re: Shocking story

Nice cover story, but its bullshit.
I think we all knew in the back of our minds this would happen someday.Time and time again I told him to wrap his little thingy.
Time and time again, we all encouraged him to step it a notch, and leave the nasties alone.I think I can collectively speak for the majority of the Hide when I say..............................

Shankster, we're gonna miss ya lil buddy.

Re: Shocking story

I thought mythbusters determined that a stream of urine isn't a solid stream, thus not an uninterupted path for the electricity to reach the body. I remember they were doing this experiment with a third rail, so thats some pretty hefty current.

Either way, I think I'd suck start a 12 guage if something like that happened to me. I'm not even sure if I want to know how that really happened.

Frank said " No Pink".

Of course that does look more like barbequed pink. Talk about Darwin at work......

Or as Shakee Yankee calls it.."Sportn the big wood!"

Re: Shocking story

No such animal as a 3 phase electric fence. Electric fences are pulsed, with a high voltage, low current generator circuit, so whatever hits it can pull away, in between pulses. Whatever cooked that was high current, and steady, perhaps an arc burn from a 480v, 1200 amp busbar. Nasty scar, most likely!
PS: I'm a retired EE. I was tired yesterday, and I'm tired again today! Wifey is working me like a rented mule.....
