Shooter app hooked another one!

Went to breakfast with a couple buddies opening morning and got to talking about ballistics a little bit, so I pulled up my shooter app and ran some numbers for their different rifles and showed them their (rough) dope. They seemed a little impressed, but still skeptical (missouri farm boys are a little slow to change sometimes)
Well last night I got a call from a friend who was absolutely ecstatic. Apparently the readout he got was dead on and he got pink mist on a doe at just under 500 with his old rem 308. Now he's talking about upgrading and getting into tactical shooting. Just thought I'd share

What's the app called? Or is it just "shooter app." Sounds interesting.

The app itself is called "shooter". I got it on the android marketplace, and I believe they have it for the iphone as well. It's pretty slick

Shooter is an outstanding app. If you put good numbers in, if gives solid numbers out. Have never been disappointed with it.

I finally broke down and upgraded to a android phone two months ago. First thing I did was put the shooter app on it. Haven't used it much but so far it is dead on. Last week I dialed in for 525 yds and put three shots down range with my 7mm-08. When I checked my target my group was about one inch low. I have compared shooter's numbers to known dope on my .308 and .280 A.I. and they match exactly. I'm loving it so far!
