whats a good glove .. it can have full fingers or not. I can cut the tips off. I want something that will fit good. be durable comfortable. protect my hands still have good dexterity in my fingers. But i can just snip or comes with out tips so i can shoot. Not cold weather glove.. something i can wear during hot weather.

Re: shooting gloves

Yea I have some crastman mechanic gloves.. i have nto cut the tips on them though.. Most loves i find wear quickly and the stitching comes out. Of course size is usually a big issue to. its so hard to find a good glove.

Re: shooting gloves

My Hatch Defender IIs have lasted me 2+ years so far with VERY HEAVY (daily for hours) use. The only real problem is my left glove was used as a shooting glove one day for off-the-glove archery. I don't think any fabric can stand up to a thousand strikes by fledging at 250 fps.

Re: shooting gloves

+1 for Hatch. They're top notch and have plenty of styles to choose from. I have a pair of Hatch specialist all weathers that I've never had a problem with while shooting my 700p, AR, or glock. Although, as much as I love the super thin palm on my specialists for dexterity, I don't think they'd last very long versus gravel and the like. If you need a pair of gloves that can handle serious abuse, Mechanix are a solid bet.

Now that sounds like what I want.

Re: shooting gloves

How are they fit? Generally most gloves Larger fits me kinda closest, but the fingers are never long enough. Xl large have the right finger length but little looser everywhere else. I have big long slender hands.

Re: shooting gloves

Thanks guys. I added a pair of the all weather speacialist to my cart at opticsplanet. They will be ordered next time i buy some junk. I might get a set of the elite marksman too down the road if i like these.
