Want one for our local falling steel matches to play onhave a couple of sti's, awesome guns! 1911 ergos and triggers, with high capacity. hit a uspsa or 3 gun match and you'll see lots.
STI has made some pretty positive strides in their overall fit/finish/triggers in the last few years. That said, for todays STI cost, I wouldn't dismiss a custom build from a reputable smith.
I got 2019 p duo and i think its nicer than 2020 modelLove my Stacatto-P (4.15" barrel with the full dust cover!) and my Stacatto-C! Now I'm jonesing for a Stacatto-XC (or a TTI Combat Master) bad!
Agreed! Mine is kind of a hybrid I guess as it has the new pattern on the grip but has the 2019 mag well and the full dust cover. Just looks more purpose built!I got 2019 p duo and i think its nicer than 2020 modelView attachment 7254912
I got both gripsAgreed! Mine is kind of a hybrid I guess as it has the new pattern on the grip but has the 2019 mag well and the full dust over. Just looks... tougher!View attachment 7254939
Love my Staccato-C... Shoots as good (if not better) than my full size Nighthawk; and that’s saying something, especially for a compact/concealed carry pistol.

...yes, I tend to push my rounds to the left (especially at longer ranges) on speed drills...working on it!

Love the Stacatto-C! Easy to carry and the included Long's Shadow holster is pretty nice!Love my Staccato-C... Shoots as good (if not better) than my full size Nighthawk; and that’s saying something, especially for a compact/concealed carry pistol.

I bet your trigger finger is pushing left during the stroke. Easy to do, one of my bad habits also.

This. STI has priced themselves high and their warranty (as stated) is crap compared to before.STI has made some pretty positive strides in their overall fit/finish/triggers in the last few years. That said, for todays STI cost, I wouldn't dismiss a custom build from a reputable smith.

I thought the staccato P was a polymer frame?I played with the Staccato P today at my buddies gunshop. I have to admit to being a little disappointed with the weight. Its 7ozs heavier than my EDC 1911 in 45ACP. It's a commander length with an aluminum frame. Which means the Staccato grossly outweighs any polymer frame guns.
The steel frame came as a surprise. I really thought they were pushing for the carry market with this handgun. So I thought they would go aluminum. Maybe they are wanting the whole Tactical Timmy market with red dot, lasers and lights.
I have to rethink it now.

No wife no kids. I’ll keep both kidneys ?fallen in love with less so yea sti is a great gun have you decided which kidney to part with yet ?
In Germany, STP still makes 1911/2011 pistols in a more sporty vein. I recall they had a connection with STI, before.View attachment 7263333Those staccatos are so cool I’m hesitant to post this old beater. But I love it anyways
Give the Phoenix Trinity Honcho a good look. They sell an excellent package for a very reasonable price. You can switch out the barrels and shoot different calibers and different divisions. And at the price of the STI DVC, you should definitely take a look at the PT race shop. Wait for a holiday and they run sales where you get 2 free barrelsShot a sti dvc today and oh my lanta it was so nice. Now I must buy a staccato P. Was like butter melting on hot waffles.
I've got a marauder myself, very soft shooting and very accurate! My only complaint is that the slide gets a bit sluggish after high round count matches LOL but sometimes thats good where I can track the sights back on targetI carry a DVC-C often and have a Marauder. The Marauder is the most accurate centerfire pistol I have ever owned and a real nice suppressor host.
