Enlighten us! It hasn’t stopped any other MKE products from reaching our shores to my knowledge.

I will have to dig the official documents and links but in short:

April 2016 the press coverage at the time, Tanrıverdi was trying to sell MP5 and MPT76 design plans to Zenith, and the informant “KK” was likely Zenith CEO Kutlay Kaya.

June 2016 formal indictment was issued and Turkish news sources have confirmed that Zenith CEO Kutlay Kaya was the informant.

September 2016 news coverage of Tanrıverdi’s trial. It seems that the defense has spun a number of conspiracy theories, including that a rival was trying to eliminate Tanrıverdi from contention for the General Director position at MKE and that the Fethullah Gülen Terrorist Organization (FETO) was involved. The FETO was publicly blamed for the Turkish coup attempt a couple of months earlier.

September 2017 Zenith Firearms advises they are restructuring their business to exclusively the roller delayed blowback with "goodies" set to be shipping in 2018 (No set month though).
