Send a PM to member "huntler", he sells them. They are about $600-850 or so, depending on what options you choose.

I am grateful for the opportunity that is afforded to me and the least I can do is to give back to our community.

There are others that will have far better information than my snapshots.

Re: SHOT Show

Chiller, if you get a chance could you give us some info on what GAP did with the POF? Theres a thread in the semi-auto section called GAP-POF AR10 with some interested folks. Thanks

USO has a relationship with POF, you could probably get her to hold one of Frank's rifles with a USO on it...

I tried. It's a good app concept, but needs some bugs worked out. I bet next year it's a lot better.

Sorry about the flash.....ya Multi-Cal.....

Chiller, does that thing say for both 308 and 338LM caliber?

Re: SHOT Show

To explain a few new products that have been introduced at Shot Shot 2011:
1. The AX pictured above is a multi caliber system, capable of .308, .300WM and .338LM. This system consist of x3 complete forward bolt assemblies, requires a magazine adapter for the .308, magazine and barrel change to accomplish caliber conversions. This is currently is a military only model, sorry guys.

2. We had a Multi Cam and ACU coated skins on display this year. We asked visitors opinions in regards to what items to coat such as butt spacers, cheek piece, thumb screws and butt pad. The overwhelming response was the skins only and minimal request for the thumb screws. We plan on offering the Multi Cam moving forward and two to three more patterns after further discussion.

3. The AE MKII 7mmWSM, no it was not a misprint
grin.gif
, and one of our in work new products. Planning would include the .300WSM as well.

I want to personally thank all the members for stopping by and all the feed back as well. To John and Hugh, thank you for the pictures, time and patience so I could get to you both. To all our OEM Partners, thank you again for stopping by, all the assistance and it was a pleasure meeting you all.

To Marty @ Badger Ordnance, a huge thank you for historical display, this was one of the most welcomed and interesting for all to see, thank you again.

Re: SHOT Show

Stacey thanks for getting us that info.
Quick question for you tho on the WSM's? Can we get the bolt body up grade for existing AE MKII's and AW's? And would it also be something we could see for the AX line?

Cheers,
DM

SNIP... </div></div>

WOW, Stacey! I realize the cost on this item is probably high enough to drive many civilian shooters in a different direction, but I've got to say if you can get the powers that be to offer up this system to the civilian market (even in limited quantities or special orders), I don't know that I'd ever need to buy another bolt gun as that would be the perfect package for me (and I am sure it would be perfect for others as well)!

Again, great job to all of the fine folks at AI for some incredible new products. Keep up the good work and God speed!

Re: SHOT Show

DesertMonkey: on the current build the WSM requires the 6 lug bolt head and that means the lock ring is required to be removed. This is an easy upgrade for the AE's due to the single feed ramps/mags, but for the AW it would currently be a no go due to the double feed ramps/mags unless........ So time will tell but she is in work happy days.

ORD: I'm with you brother, I would love to offer it to all, and we all know I don't give up easy LOL! I will continue to beat the drum so rest assured many thing are going in very good directions for AI. Thank you and I passed along many many thanks to Bartlein, Dave Tooley and our entire AI team for an outstanding job all around.

Re: SHOT Show

Poison123, no sir not at this to to release. It would not break the bank and I would be highly in favor of it as well for myself. I have completed the conversion enough times that I can say it can be completed in less then 10 minutes without rushing and a cup of coffee near by. I to await the opportunity for such a system for my collection one day.

Anyone been over to see what S&B has new for scopes at their booth?

I am envious of everyone at the show

Wish I was there

Re: SHOT Show

I really like the 3-20x S&B and they had a 5-25 with the new MSR reticle too. I think that would be the reticle choice to go with since there are no more Gen II XRs to be had on the S&Bs.
