Just a quick THANK YOU. You guys definitely exceeded my expectations with my issue and did it pretty danged fast too.

Ok, background. About 4-5 years ago(?) I purchased a HDMR TRMORII. Its been on several gas guns, been pretty beat to hell over time. Well, I just put it on the .260 gasser at the beginning of the year and started trying various factory loads and dialing in the adjustable gas system. I noticed that my reticle canted a bit. I kept it on their for several months and just used the hold overs on it like I always have. But when I got some Prime ammo, I wanted to do some dialing. Well, it complicates everything with that canted reticle, especially shooting deep into mid-range. It bothered me more everytime I thought about it. So I sent it in to see if they could correct the reticle. Well, they couldn't. So they opted to send me a new scope. But it wouldn't have the TRMR any more. I was bummed about loosing the very reason I purchased it in the first place, the TRMR. I was making plans to list the new scope if it didn't work for me. Well the box showed up today. Just took it out to make sure everything works and its not canted. Well, its a GenII H59. So they took my beat to hell scope, and traded it up. And the best part is the glass. The CA that is normally present on the old genI, just isn't there. And the glass compares to my Razor HD side by side looking out to 700 yards in the sun. Id say glass wise color pops ALOT more, and is much more clear than the old. So kudos to them for changing the coatings up or whatever they did. The turret clicks are not soft/mushy like the genI, but a lot more crisp, and on this one I have 31 Mils total travel. I like the lower profile of the turrets too. Nope, I don't think I'm going to list this one based on the glass alone. I will say I did not expect that they would swap it for the gen2, and while I was on the fence about losing the TRMR, they were correct in telling me to wait till I had it in my hands before making any decision. They did fantastic. Thank you Bushnell!!

Just a quick overview, I haven't mounted and shot it yet so my total opinion of this particular scope in hand may change once I do, but I don't expect it to. Straight to the punch, this is certainly updated and worthy of our hard earned money. First off, the scope is just as solid as the Gen 1. It's just a lot more refined. It seems like they have been listening and tweaked the design to accommodate things we either complained about or asked for. 10 Mils per rotation and a zero stop. What a relief that is to get beyond 1k yards with a single rotation! This example that I have has 33.1 mils of total travel (I did not correctly count in my original post). The clicks are more tactile/crisp than my old HDMR, they do inspire confidence. Not quite the same as the Razor HD, but good nonetheless. Its very thoughtful that they reduced the size of the turrets. They also added the throw lever in there that can be removed with a provided hex key. It doesn't flip, you can manually remove it though. I like they blacked out the turret retainers, unlike the old ones that were in the white. Time will tell if they scratch up easily. I like the arrow on top that is opposite the 0. Makes it easy to see if you bumped it, or if you are between strings of fire, a quick reminder that you aren't on zero. I can almost set the zero with that alone. The glass itself, well I'm excited most about that, it certainly seems they added either new glass or changed up the coatings. They corrected most all the CA that was a problem in the Gen1 I had. It has a lot more pop and color. The Gen1 seemed to always exhibit fringing and seemed like it was generally blue-gray whenever viewed. It is much improved, to the point that it is clear edge to edge and only a tiniest bit of gray fringing if the light conditions are perfectly right with a completely white background. Where the Gen1 was purple and blue and a bit distracting no matter what. This is in my opinion absolutely huge. I still give the edge to the Razor of course, but just barely. I think the color pops better in the razor, but again, just barely. Its so close in this regard that I think it comes down to what features you find more attractive, the glass is that much an improvement, at least on my example. I like the H59. Didn't think I would. I like the center dot. Its a bit small, which I suspect when I get the magnification set on high and shooting at distance, it will shine. The grid is simple enough and not overly distracting. Its a little thicker than the TremorII from what I remember, without the distraction of the close together wind dispersion dots with the mil hashs. I can completely dial with this without screwing with wind dots of the Tremor, which has its pluses. I can dial exclusively with this whenever I want to. But with the clear glass, ten mils per revolution and a zero stop to boot, I can say I'm now divorced from the Tremor. So in all, I'd say kudos to Bushnell for the update to this model!
