Got out this morning for some 100 yard shooting. Was hoping to shoot steel at 1000 but that plan didn’t work out. Either way conditions were great

Well done. At first glance, I would say it looks just like my manners GAP camo.

No pics, but I verified my new 6.5creed load today. 130 berger vld target at 2935. Checked zero and grouping at 100, then shot 17 rounds at 1000. Hot as hell here in TX, but was a good day.

I set out to shoot at 1000 with my dad. There were cows in the way so to the square range after that

Scrubbed out a carbon ring in my RPR .243, then sent 40 rounds downrange to verify zero. Public range, limited to 200 yards. No photos, forgot the camera don't run a smartphone. Household chores got in the way of an evening shoot.

Some serious great shooting here guys.

Some day I am going to get enough guts to paint one of my rifles, great job on the camo.

I also got out to the range this morning for some 100 yard group practice. I tried to really focus on each shot and make sure the shot broke when my posture and sight alignment were perfect.

Shooting Hornady Gunner 140gr the GAP 6.5 shot the tightest groups to date. Either today was a complete fluke or maybe I’m finally starting to consistently use the proper fundamentals. Usually my groups are around 0.75” with that ammo.

Either way....I’m stoked! I’ve learned so much from the people and information on this forum.

I have found American Gunner is damn good ammo. Excellent shooting.

It’s what we use to break in new barrels and get a baseline before load work up. I’ve yet to see a 6.5cm over 1moa with it.

Nice I got 600 rounds of it for a good price, shot a couple of local matches with it to get myself dialed in with the new gun. Gonna load them up with some ELD-X 147s. While not the best brass it is producing great groups at 2800 FPS, which is what I did this weekend.

Picked up a new Tikka CTR from Cabelas yesterday. Between the $75 rebate, my mil discount, and $150 in gift cards I had, I was able to walk out of there with it for $721 before tax.

That is an excellent value. I've examined them at Scheels, if their reputation stands up, you should be well pleased.

    What caliber

I use hornady brass in my 6.5. It’s decent brass for the money. Probably switch to starline when it wears out. Great shooting damn good groups.

Thanks! That's my plan, if I need new brass one day I may switch it out to one of the various name brands.

Sighted in my scope, broke in my new rifle, and had enough time to send 30 rounds downrange. First time in over 30 years I shot HP center fire... first round I jumped! (LOL). Lots of work ahead (suppressor not pictured... Wilson Combat 9mm from my SBR PPC).

Practical application.......The COM was marked up by somebody else but the above the shoulders area was unmolested so the last 6 rounds were placed in the head.....
