Seems like a LOT of machinery to trim cases.
Or does it do something automatically, other than add a motor to a case trimmer?

It chamfers the inside and outside of the case mouth also.

It chamfers the inside and outside of the case mouth also.

Congrats! I was cranking on a Sinclair/Wilson trimmer before mine. There is no going back once you trim with the Giraud.

can you show us some pics of the trimmed brass ,
the last ones i saw on here looked like the chamfer was very large ?
and can you explain how it /where it measured from , on the case ,
i normmally just neck size , so would i have to full length size before trimming
at present i use the wilson trimmer

Awesome, Buzz! I love mine, and it makes trimming cases very easy. I can not believe I used to use a hand or drill powdered trimmer. The best addition for a reloader!

Doug is a great guy to deal with, I just got a .223 blade assembly. I think I paid $365. It trims to correct length. Doug can set it for whatever length you want. No problems.

I have the Gracey! And "YES" you have to FL Size the cases to trim! Unless you provide them a neck sized case and have a special insert made.
The trim to length is set from the datum point on the case neck. However, you just turn it in a little at a time until you caliper the Brass OAL at your desired length.
