Anyway Scott... just wanted to wish you a speedy & full recovery... Gives "Happy New Year", a whole new meaning!

Man good and bad news all at the same time. Bad that he had heart attack, good that he is still with us!!

If your reading this buddy good luck and recover fully and quickly!!!

Re: SHWW Group

Damn! Sorry to hear that, Scott! Hopefully, it's somethin' a little care and attention will put you back to better than ever,... My Mom had a stint put in a couple years back due to some vascular problems with her heart and at 85, her Dr. said that he hasn't seen her this healthy in decades! Think of it as a new lease on life! I had a recent life-threatening event myself (brain tumor) and am better than ever thanks to treatment. Think of it as a wake-up call and get on the program to recovery,... One day at a time, each gets a little easier,... Best of luck!

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Speaking of matches, here is series of matches held in the Jordan, MT area (that is a heck of a long drive for you folks, might be best to fly to Billings or Miles City) but they look like a lot of fun. Max cartridge is .300 Win Mag (Tribe!).

Re: SHWW Group

Anyone local (within the state) looking for a 700 long action receiver for a build I have an extra one that I'm looking to get rid of.

Its an "A" prefix serial and is drilled for side mounted receiver sights (M-24 style). Not 100% but I beleive the side mount holes were done at the factory since they have hole plug screws with bluing that matches the receiver.

Looking to get 350.00 shipped within state which means no FFL X-fer fee or tax.

Re: SHWW Group

So..... I was just kicking tires over in the Eastern Montana thread... and Travis was talking about bussing the SHWW Group out his private high angle range....

.....unless.....it's possible..... that I may have mis-interpreted that.....

Maybe someday I will buy a bus! There are alot closer places that don't require a bus. They just aren't quite as high of elevation. Jesse has some secret spots outside Wenatchee.

Re: SHWW Group

I happen to have a 28 passenger party bus!!! and a 12 passenger van with some extra room in the back for equipment, or a little cargo trailer would be perfect for equipment!!!

SSS nailed it ( ROAD TRIP!!!! )

Just found this group also and wanted to say hello. Anyone here shooting the 50bmg match at upper Nisqually 1/1/12?

Re: SHWW Group

Welcome to the best group of guys on here!

Speaking of .50bmg rifles, I will be selling a McMillan .50bmg rifle for my dad here in a week or so if anyone is interested! I should have pics of everything (rifle, press, dies, etc...) in the coming days.

Re: SHWW Group

Keep me posted I was looking at building one but if I could find one, I might be interested in just purchasing one.

TSI might add something like this to his list of diabolical things to include at the next shoot.

How about two different colored baloons tied together bobbing in the wind one hostage, one not?(saw this idea somewhere here on SH) So many possibilities! I think that the know your limits rack may be a permanent part of the COF. We all do so well at it (NOT).

Re: SHWW Group

Does anyone else sell wedge bags or the badger bone on here other than Triad?

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: Sunnyside Scott</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Guys,
I have been working on coming up with a rear bag that fits the needs of field shooting, after trying different designs and materials as well as modifying the plastic poly to act more like sand, I settled on a wedge shape.
I made up extras to share them with the group at a great price and I am going to put one on the prize table for this weekends match.
The tan and black material is 500 Denier Cordura, the tan camo is rip stop material and the green camo is a heavy cotton, all seams are double stitched with a heavy duty thread. They are about 7" tall with a 4" x 4" base, they will work great stacked on top of eachother when you need to be tall (like on top of the doghouse, just saying) or can be used as a wedge.
I am offering them for $20.00 each and will bring them to the match in Ellensburg this weekend.
If you are interested in a specific color, PM me and I will hold that one for you.
Thanks SScott

Re: SHWW Group

Group,

I was meandering my way through my own private rabbit hole, when it occurred to me, that I received a link, about a week or so back, of which I shared with some friends and family, but I failed to share it with the folks that would likely appreciate it the most....

This is what you support, when you shoot Kettle Falls - and/or back Camp Patriot.... many of you will recognize a couple of the contributors in this... pretty frickin' sweet...

Tribe thanks for sharing. I will never forget the experience that was my pleasure to help with. Matt (the hunter) is a tremendous individual and a testimony to what it means to be an American. I'm privileged to call him my friend.

If any care to learn more they can find more information at www.camppatriot.org

See you all in May!

Re: SHWW Group

Yeah. I suck, as usual.... was doing ok then dropped nine out of 10 shots on an easy stage. Dammit.
JLR won, AlanH had a crappy day and came in last, think JtP was second?

Anyway, where was everybody? Only five of us came out to play.
