Has anyone heard any rumors on when sig is going to rerelease the Cross and when they might be shipping?

My scouring the net has left me without knowing.

Was going to go with another manufacturer for a lightweight 6.5 creedmoor but that manufacturer has left me hanging with less than stellar support and communication on another one of their costly rifles so my original plan isn't going to work for me.

So its either wait on this cross or find another lightweight 6.5 if anyone has any other suggestions.

Thanks!

The Seekins Havak Element has been on my mind for a replacement for the Cross. Also the Q Fix, which is very similar to the Cross, just double the price.

I’ve been impatiently waiting to find a cross myself, but I’m about ready to move on to something else. Lightweight isn’t too hard to find, shorter barrel in 6.5 creed does limit the selection.

Thank you, I will look into these.

the sig is bitchin because it folds up small, gives you familiar controls and is pretty lightweight. the bolt stroke is a lot better then the Fix. by a lot. and side by side next to a christenson MPR it's a lot better platform.

the short size when strapped to pack is huge when ur bustn monkey scrub or alder brush

qc is the only wildcard. it's a Sig america products.

the seekins havak is a totally different weapon platform. ez pass for the price point. the stock design is good for 2015. i guess

pretty ez to make a lightweight action without using some bs aluminum receiver setup. the bolt stroke is not smooth. it isn't terrible but a well worn in 700 slaps it around. timney triggers are not my thing. and that fluting on the barrel. man is it ugly.

Read up on the sig thread, sounds like they are manufacturing replacement parts now. I have the 6.5 and love it, if you’re interested in one, I would simply wait a month or two and they should be back out. It’s a fun rifle, my opinion is wait for it.
