Re: Sig P250
Bought the P250 compact in .40 a while back. Yes the trigger pull and reset is long. I bought the pistol because the 226 and 220 always seemed top heavy and unbalanced left to right in my hand. In hotter weather I prefer concealing it under a t shirt as apposed to my glock 17, which I generally carry in the winter. The trigger can be learned and adapted too. I bought it because it has a trigger so different from the rest of the market. It helps me to be familiar with all the weapons I can. It is as accurate as I want and have had 0 issues with reliability with anything I have fed it (WWB, Federal, CorBon, Remington).
That being said if it was to be my first pistol or only pistol I would look into other weapons. It is a difficult weapon to get used to and there are other- better pistols out there, I just feel it neccesary to put some positive note on the pistol. It impressed the U.S. Air Marshals, not sure if that isn't a strike against it though.
