Suppressors Sig P250

Re: Sig P250

Trigger has a horrible reset. practically need to take your finger off the trigger to get it to reset.

play with one before you buy it for sure.

Re: Sig P250

I am a sig fan but everything I have ever come across about the P 250 suggests its a better paper weight then a pistol. If you want something inbetween a 229 is worth looking at. You can get a sig 357 and 40 sw barrel and swap them out as you desire and basically have 2 guns in one. Maybe be able to do the samething with the 226 not sure. Just make sure you start with a 40 or 357 gun. Can't go from 9mm to 357 or 40 but you can get a barsto drop in to go from 357 or 40 to 9 mm then you can have a hand gun that shoots 3 calibers for the price of the barrels.

Re: Sig P250

Bought the P250 compact in .40 a while back. Yes the trigger pull and reset is long. I bought the pistol because the 226 and 220 always seemed top heavy and unbalanced left to right in my hand. In hotter weather I prefer concealing it under a t shirt as apposed to my glock 17, which I generally carry in the winter. The trigger can be learned and adapted too. I bought it because it has a trigger so different from the rest of the market. It helps me to be familiar with all the weapons I can. It is as accurate as I want and have had 0 issues with reliability with anything I have fed it (WWB, Federal, CorBon, Remington).
That being said if it was to be my first pistol or only pistol I would look into other weapons. It is a difficult weapon to get used to and there are other- better pistols out there, I just feel it neccesary to put some positive note on the pistol. It impressed the U.S. Air Marshals, not sure if that isn't a strike against it though.

Re: Sig P250

I baught one when they came out, guess spring of '08. I drank the koolaid of the idea of a "modular" pistol. After buying it I think it's more of a gimmicky idea more than anything. A money trap as well after buying the different slide lengths and lighter trigger kit, and different Grip sizes. All in all I used the grip that fit my hand and the rest collected dust.

The 3 foot trigger pull is better with the lighter trigger but still long. I didnt conceal carry mine, and target shooting is questionable. I wouldnt compete with it so it really just didnt serve any practical purpose for me so I sold it and bought a Glock 35.

Dont get me wrong, it was made well, shot without issues it just didnt fill any practical role with the long double action pull. That and the modularity is a feature not used in my case. I think they are neat in concept but not worth the money.

Re: Sig P250

tigger pull is loooooong DA only, depending on the size of your hands/how you hold the gun you could hit/bump the slide lock/release,I would take a bite of the shit sandwich and get a 228/229 if you have a hard on for a sig just my 02 cents

Re: Sig P250

Got lucky and caught a deal on a Glock 33 with night sights and both .357 Sig and .40 S&W barrels.

I liked the way the Sig felt. I'm not that big of a fan of how the glock feels but it was too good of a deal.
