Hello all. I use a Bushnell Elite 3200 5-15x50 scope with sunshade. Here is an example of my problem. Today I was shooting at 50 yards, and when I was sighting in my elevation was fine but my windage was 2" to the right. Conditions were sunny with a light breeze. Nothing I would adjust for. I made 16 clicks to the left. Since my scope adjusts 1/4" moa at 100 yards, this should have brought me to dead center. However, it was like 6" too far to the left. This is not the first time this has happened. It's just kind of been like that. Creates more guess work when sighting. Any advice??

why 16 clicks, at 50 its roughly 1/2 inch adjustments, so 16 clicks would give you roughly 8 inches left, you stated you were 2 inchs right, so you throw on 8 inches, you do the math. That puts you 6 inches left.

That's what I was going on. Me and digits. Oh well. At least now I can save time and ammo!

I got conflicting answers when doing a google search. Some say it's twice as many clicks and some say it's half as many for 50 yards. But based on the info I got here and what I actually see for myself when shooting, deadly0311 is right damn it!

Remember this. MOA is 1.0471966 at 100 yds. MOA has a quadratic effect. In round numbers it goes like this.

One MOA at 50 yds equals 1/2 inch.

One MOA at 100 yds equal one inch.

One MOA at 200 yds equals two inches.

One MOA at 300 yds equals three inches.

One MOA at 400 yds equals four inches.
