Frequent among them is the one asking how, if I were the Soviets, would I go about dismantling the strengths of the USA, taking a long and gradual plan to fruition.
Pretty much about the way we have been going since the 60's, by the folks we see in that history, to the end we see today, and most effectively for the benefit of the Socialists and Communists. It's no accident that the Russians are currently being presided over by a career KGB agent.
I think there's been tons of Russian interference in our society, and that it goes back to decades before Trump even considered running. Current emphasis only carries out validity of the Marxist and NAZI policies surrounding the Big Lie methodology.
The Liberals, the MSM, and the institutions of higher learning are complicit. The FBI, CIA, and NSA have been politicized to the point that only Liberal stooges would doubt it for even an instant.
And they're closing the deal.
Take a look around, this "change" is what they wanted and nearly got, and what we're experiencing now is only a tightrope walk away from our folks getting steamrollered.
Either the next step is ours, or we're done. We have to do everything right all the time. They only need to get a few more things done, and, as I said, we're done.

A few more things....is the case. They don't have much left to do. You have to remember that many of these adolescents will be voting in 2020.

I pondered this all night and the best Ican come up with is "Money" to fund activity.

Banning a class of firearms doesn't mean the balloon goes up. Confiscation and forcibly disarming the people is another story entirely.

I'm afraid we are on the downhill side of the crest. We should have been awake an spoke up back in the 60's, an on. There is no hope in a good plan/s, the info comes first hand. Just wait until it's game on an the last guy in the stack or over watch, decides he's not going with the plan. This is a cycle that's infected every Empire throughout history and without some massive disruption we won't turn this ship around. More likely we'll bumble on our way... Remember it took 100 years for the British Empire to fade, the Romans took hundreds of years. Right now Asia will be ascendent because they never adopted multiculturalism, tolerated decadent homosexuals, or felt guilty for their success. And home school your kids and be in a like minded community with strong ties. I've yet to do all that and probably won't at my age but it's what I hope my kids will do.
Rome may have fallen but many of the smartest, best families carried on for two thousand years afterwards (in fact they are still wealthy). Same in China, some of the elite bloodlines go back even farther. Well... I may be ignored, but I'll clarify my question anyway.
Some old fart whose opinion I respect writes that he took a long view of things and had some carefully considered observation to share, states that, then goes on to say that 'we need to do something'.
Am I really that far off in my thinking that I would ask for him to elaborate on that point? "Please, old man with a wealth of experience and knowledge, give some clues as to what 'something' you would like everyone to do..."
That response was a big disappointment, though. Rather than contribute anything meaningful, the response was more reminiscent of some of the kids marching to have the government 'do something' to stop gun violence. Recoiling in anger and disgust when someone has the audacity to ask them for their opinion on what 'something' they think would help.
I don't disagree with this, and I also don't think taking a hostile position toward people who are able and willing to help in whatever way they can is the right thing to do.
No shit. That's pretty much the only option. It's not an easy one, though. For one, the number of quality candidates running for various positions are few.
When new candidates run, they need a way to get the entire scope of their character widely known, so that people that would be voting could know the name, know the person, and do something other than randomly select from a list composed of mostly chaff and little wheat. (or no wheat at all, wtf is up with uncontested positions held by RINOs?)
The voting process is not easy to do in an informed way. Voting straight R gives you people like John Cornyn, that douche McCain, and various other RINOs. There are tons of candidates, and little good information about them as people. Some flyers saying, "Vote for me I'll protect Mexicans" doesn't mean they're good people that won't also sell out the Mexicans at the first opportunity.
The whole process sucks, IMO, but as Greg stated, we've got to solve it or it's over. I, unfortunately, do not have ALL the answers.
I was really hoping that Greg might have had at least one.
And just for the record, I know I'm not the only red blooded programmer in the world. I think a sort of conservative programmer foundation that 'collected' freedom loving programmer patriots and put them to work building shit would be a honkin' great idea. There are thousands of folks out there that work for google, facebook, twitter, etc, that are quite unhappy and would probably jump at the chance to make a decent living in a supportive environment.. As countless people have acknowledged, there are killer opportunities everywhere to replace things like youtube, twitter, etc with something that embraces free speech.

If you are going to vote, look very carefully at the primaries, that is where you can have a much bigger say in the direction of your chosen party than at the general election. You'll also find sometimes when the primaries are competitive, the politicians are a bit more inclined to at least pretend to listen to you.

Think smaller. Rather than fighting the nation think more about protecting your family, and maybe your network and community. Then when you're successful more like minded good people will naturally be drawn to it and you can exclude the assholes and layabouts.

Unfortunately some of our biggest constitutional protections/pillars were kicked out from under the Republic by progressives a hundred years ago, and that’s really what’s happening now. The full measure of “The Progressive Amendments” is just now being felt. It has taken this long for the culture of our government to devolve to a point where it’s full of people advocating for totalitarianism. Restoring the Republic would take a long time, but it couldn’t even begin till key Constitutional protections were restored (16th and 17th amendments abolished, and the original restored). These two things would turn the ship around. Tying Federal revenues to trade and comerce would eliminate their hostility to all but giant corporations and stop their theft and transfer of our wealth, and restoring a vote to the States Legdgislatures would change them back into governing bodies rather than rump muni governments. These two things were critical protections we lost, and this leviathan was caused by loosing them. That was the end of federalism. We just didn’t know it till now.
