I ordered a 3rd gen F class bipod from Sinclair. Also I ordered the bigger and taller Protektor rear bag . It's got the handle and Cordura ears. A couple if more additions to range / gun gear. How do y'all like the Bipod?

I picked up a 3rd gen one here a few months back and have really enjoyed using it. I went from a Harris bipod to this, so it's night and day difference in the way you utilize the bipod.

I recently bought one myself. I'm a big guy so I have to extend the bipod quite a bit to be comfortable. The Sinclair is much more stable extended than the Harris I was using before. And yes, my groups have tightened up since I started using it.

i've had mine for a few months now and really like it took alittle bit getting use to going from a harris to this one .wife likes it so much i have to buy one for her now so i can have mine back from time to time.

This bipod really worked well for me. I had some adjustment issues , ( my part ) It was presented to me this morning on the way to the match . A little fine tuning , it'll be outstanding .

Here it is set up, after the match. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1374970090.396915.jpg

I had opposite results when i got mine. I load the bipod, and with the sinclair i felt like i wasnt in control anymore. I know its probably a shooting form issue, but my groups shrank back down when i went back to the harris and could load up the bipod.

If you were trying to load the Sinclair, you were fighting with it, defeating its purpose and design. Years ago when I transitioned to the then second generation Sinclair bipod I soon learned to let it do its thing. The 3rd Gen is the same and I like mine very much.

Atlas user here... I went to a Sinclair gen 3 on the weekend and ran Into accuracy issues. Was not sure what to do.
Any advice guys?

Was shot using an AICS, bag rider, Edgewood rear bag, on a TAB shooting mat.

The technique is obviously causing problems... What's the deal?

Any help is appreciated :)

I have never shot with a rest either... so is it supposed to effectively be free-recoil?

What about cheek pressure or position behind the rifle?

Sorry for noob questions, I just feel like a real dumbass when going to the Sinclair F Class Bipod... I went from 3/4MOA 10 shot groups with an Atlas, to shotgun scatter with the Sinclair.

The advantage and reason for purchasing the Sinclair bipod is to enable the use of a BR style rear bag, a bag rider, fine elevation adjustment and for a more relaxed shooting form during F-Class.

Also, what do you guys do with respect to placement of the stock on the rear bag? Bearing in mind that I have a bag rider. I have been placing the bag rider in the bag, at the front end of the bar. After a recoil phase I then need to readjust the rear in the bag and fiddle with the elevation knob etc.

I would be very keen to hear the form that you guys are using.
