Sling Recommendations

What do you guys like? I have been look at the Tab. I have seen one or two that have a small section of bungee on the for end, but can't seem to find them on the web.

what are you looking for in a sling? Is it for competition? What material are you looking for?

If you're ok with leather, Turner makes a great M1907 sling. I've got a couple of his...very good quality.

I am hoping to do some competition shooting this spring/summer. was looking for something in nylon, but leather is not out of the question.

I have a TAB Gear. I just wanted a good quality sling to carry the rifle if need be. Since getting it and understanding how to use it for stability, i'm looking forward to giving it a shot. I'm very happy with my purchase.

+1 on the TIS - though I like the quick cuff. Works pretty much like the old USGI slings just easier to get in and out of and wider. Great for prone.

I've got a Mountain Shooter sling. For me, good combination of similar functionality to the quick cuff/TAB and ease of use for carry, hunting. Lots of fans on the hide, that's how I learned about them.

I just upgraded from a leather M1907 to a biothane Turner M1907. I'm really diggin' the Turner, and the biothane seems very durable.

Tactical Intervention Specialists Quick-Cuff is a fantastic sling and has been proved dead reliable, for a long time. Readily available, from Triad Tactical at a reasonable price and it should last as long as your rifle. If you don't feel like using the quick cuff feature, it makes a rock steady hasty. I bought my first one in ~2003 and the new ones are even better. If you have any question, Mike [TIS] is a member here and very helpful. You will not be disappointed.
