Sidearms & Scatterguns Small of back holster for railed 1911

I tried the search engine and no love so either my google foo is off or out of frustration I over looked it. So any links covering this would be appreciated. Ok I carry a Springfield Armory Champion Operator with a rail for an off duty gun. My wife is getting mad at me for leaving gun imprints on her leather interior of her car. I have one version of a S.O.B. holster and like it but the muzzle points straight down and when I sit on certain chairs the muzzle hits the chair and the gun starts to ride up and also make a metalic thud noise. I have been looking at the Galco model but I am unsure if the rail will fit. Also my 1911 is a 4 inch barrel and the Galco only comes in 3 or 5 inch holsters. I have also viewd Desantis and Falco holsters. Neither of which stated the compatibility of a railed 1911. Thanks in advance to all to reply

In general, they aren't a very good idea.

Try Comptac, they custom make their holsters and should be able to fit one for your specific model.
