Speaking for myself, I have enjoyed building and shooting tactical short barrel shotguns and would welcome the topic despite it sounding almost counter-intuitive on the Hide. However, I assembled a few "master-key" breechingconfigurations in the spirit of the original KAC's that might be of limited interest on the Hide. These are based on the LaRue 16" OBR, Noveske 10" N4 5.56 and 16" HK 5.56. The KAC attachment system seemed like an unnecessarily limited design to the underside of the rifle, so I used paired Roger's Rail Clamps which are establish a very stable mounting situation and remove in seconds. A Safety Harbor KEG 7"(Kompact Entry Gun) Remington 870 is mounted. Some serious fire-power density with SureFire 60 round and coupled 30 round MagPul magazines. Might need to contract with a Sherpa to hump the OBR around !
