Well, i've been doing some searching and was curious.

Do you all have any snow camo?

If so, where do you get it.

I've been trying to find MARPAT snow camo and its F'ing impossible.

Re: Snow Camouflage

For coyote hunting in winter I bought the biggest white sweat pants and white long sleeve shirt I could find at wal mart and wear those over my coveralls.

Krylon, some masking tape, a razor blade and a lot of patience worked wonders for snow camo on my AR back when we actually got snow during the winter.

In the north here, we use cheese cloth wrapped on the rifle for camo along with white tape to break up the outline. You don't have to make it completely white. Don't forget, the best personal camo is the stardard white top and bottom. If there is alot of snow on the ground but little in the trees ie pine trees, we take off the white top. Add a white balaclava and some cheese cloth...and you can make some material to break up your shape. Don't use much as it will likely freeze up...

Yes. Up here in frozen Vermont, snow it's a large part of the year.

I have a Canadian oversuit (bought on eBay). PM me and I can probably hook you up with the seller.

You can also go to any autobody supply story and buy a Tyvek painters oversuit for about $20. Some even have hoods. If you need to throw some spray paint at it... go ahead. They are pretty rugged, add a great layer of insulation and relatively quiet.

For gun, you can cut the tips out of white cotton tube socks to use as chaps.

Cheap, works great... lets you spend more on ammo for training.

For LE's who want to 'camo' their rifle if they have to move or deploy in an urban environment, buy a used ski or snowboard bag and put your drag bag inside it. You can walk anywhere in a resort area with a rifle in a snowboard bag and noone will even give it a second look.

Cheers,

Sirhr

Re: Snow Camouflage

Are overwhites becoming a thing of the past? We have 4 Bass Pro shops and one Cabelas, all within a two hour drive. Bass Pro doesn't even carry overwhites, and the KC, KS Cabelas selection was dismal at best. Only a couple pants and a few tops.

I've looked for surplus whites, but they're not usually big enough for my size.
