Today is the day they announce the Peace Prize.

Who wants to bet they give it to some illegal
Mexican?

But if Trump does get the award.. should he:

A. Tell them to stick it where the sun don’t shine because giving it to Obama made the whole concept worthless?

B. Say that “until I solve Ukraine, you can hang on to it.”

C. Graciously accept it on behalf of the American people and donate the prize money to charity

D. Run around the Oval Office riding the bull with George Washington’s presentation sword shouting “In your face, Kamala and Hillary…”. While grabbing a CNN reporter by her crotch and telling her to “impeach this”!

We’ll know in hours!!

"She is receiving the Nobel Peace Prize for her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela, and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy,” the committee stated in their announcement of the 2025 winner.

So, good intentions, but no results necessary to win.

I guess I take a bit of comfort in knowing the person had to have done whatever by January of this year.

They could give him next year’s award now or announce ot will be him. They should.

They gave the humanitarian award to the bint that married Prince Henry the Ginger C. Shameful.

And finally I should get the Nobel Peace through Superior Firepower for my gun room. It is a bit messy right now or I’d post a pic. That and I am on a flight back from NYC to Miami after some boring USG meetings where they told me 5 times in one hour that that it is so special that they are working without pay. Sorry for the ramble- super bored on the flight

All,
Be safe have a cheery weekend!

Given how desperate he was for Nobel prize, he should just have sent couple of B2s to circle over Norway till they give him the Prize :ROFLMAO:

With hours to go until the announcement of this year’s Nobel peace prize, Norwegian politicians were steeling themselves for potential repercussions to US-Norway relations if it is not awarded to Donald Trump.

Mr Trump has long been outspoken about his belief that he should be awarded the peace prize, an honour previously bestowed on one of his presidential predecessors, Barack Obama, in 2009 for his “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples”.

In July, Mr Trump reportedly called Jens Stoltenberg, Norway’s finance minister and the former Nato secretary general, to ask about the Nobel prize.

The newspaper columnist and analyst Harald Stanghelle speculated that retribution from Mr Trump – if it were to come – could take the form of tariffs, demands for higher Nato contributions or even declaring Norway an enemy.

After some talks behind the scenes it was decided to give the price to a different person than Trump but with the very obvious intent to also satisfy Trump by furthering a major foreign policy aim of his:

The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded Friday to Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado who lives in hiding after attempting to run against President Nicolás Maduro.

Machado, 58, was recognized for keeping “the flame of democracy burning amidst a growing darkness” and “ever-expanding authoritarianism in Venezuela.”

She leads the Vente Venezuela opposition party, but was blocked from running as the nation’s president and expelled from office in 2014. She now lives in hiding and faces “serious threats against her life,” the Norwegian Nobel Committee said.
