Well color me impressed. Since it happened about 6 years before you were born. They teach it in schools?? I haven't seen anything in the media on it for 20 years (mid 90's). 40th Anniversy next year so I suspect it will come up again.
PS as far as being a nerd, I saw something years ago that said to the effect. If Bill Gates decided to spend Micheal Jordan's annual salary (33,100,000 at the time) everyday, it would take Bill something like 8 years to run out of money Bill's net worth of 87 billion.

I learned about it watching a documentary on the History channel. Tgey didn'tnteach that in schools. They barely covered any of the wars starting with the Revolutionary war. Too focused on SJW bullshit.

There are checks and balances in the universe. I come here to make sure that they are all in alignment. The day that people are not being who they are expected to be here on the Hide is the day I load'em up and get the hell out of dodge. A person can't help who they are unless acted upon by outside forces.

A couple things. After the rocket goes out it shoots something out the front. Pretty sure that is either to ignite the second stage and seperate and/or push the nose cone off to deploy the parachute.
