Back in '08 I had PT&G cut me a long free-bore finish reamer for a 6.5x47 Lapua. Dave Kiff and I discussed Robert Whitley's reamer design that used a 0.160" free-bore in an attempt to get 140g class bullets all the way up into the neck and allow the most room for the powder charge. With the Lapua's shorter case design, I still had plenty of room in my AICS magazines even with my 142g SMKs sticking WAY OUT THERE . . .
I went ahead and purchased the below reamer which has been used by Karl Kampfeld to cut two (2) chambers. This reamer is like new, and has the premium screw-in live pilot. It also includes a GO and a NO/GO gauge.
I'm now changing calibers, so this reamer is collecting dust.
