Sorry, another comment after watching an attempted justification of our entry into this situation because of the "Americans" killed and presumed taken hostage.

1. I can guarantee you 100% of those dead and missing had dual citizenship; IMHO if you are in Israel with Israeli citizenship,even dual w/US, you ARE Israeli at that/this time. Not an excuse for US citizens to die in combat over. (If TRUMP was POTUS, they would have been back day one.)
2. Israel is known for terrorist events. Travel there as a US citizen at your own risk.
3. I still think Hamas needs to be destroyed by Israel, purely because they are sick f*cks whose mentality will eventually create problems here. That doesn't mean MOSSAD didn't have a role to play "encouragement" of the Hamas attacks not unlike our CIA had a role with the 9/11 hijackers.

If you know attractive females and they trust you you will find that the percentage that have been raped is quite high. Honestly I would guess the true percentage at age 25 approaches half. Whatever it is its truly shocking like a disease that no one talks about but is everywhere. They dont get trained to use common sense techniques to avoid rape actually are taught the opposite. Instead of being taught to recognize predator techniques and behavior they are taught that those techniques are distrustful and wrong. SOs are the exact opposite always watching improving their technique and manipulation. Their 'disease" becomes a large part of their focus in life. Which is why identifying certain behaviors is so critical for young women because there are commonalities that identify risk with a high level of accuracy. Get them up to the air base up in kurd territory and out to Kuwait. I think there is still a ohio class in the persian gulf with almost 200 tomahawks.

If you read between the lines from the message in this video, Putin definitely does not want any American jets from either of those carrier groups making their way towards the black sea/Ukraine. Keep moving south down the mediterranean or get a hypersonic missile in your ass is what I am getting. Not sure if we still have operational air bases in Turkey, one can see how a carrier group would be a threat to the Russia Ukraine campaign in the region.

Turkey is reassessing our access to the 2 main bases we've been using.
Do not recall them restricting us before.

At one point they were prohibiting us from moving out nukes when it looked they may lose security at
Incirclik.

It was like they wanted their bad dude buddies to get access to them.

The terrain and climate is a lot different in the Middle East compared to Ukraine but I wonder if we are going to see as much use of killer drones there.

Both sides in both conflicts have different doctrines and tactics. Which is why I’m wondering if we will see individual combatants hunted down and eliminated like we’ve seen in the Ukraine.

I can answer that query: if they can get their hands on them, definitely. They are already using them so they know their effectiveness. And it started before Ukraine. Interceptor drone tech has been brought to Israel for review for some time. A Canadian firm made a pretty cool one early on for them, never heard of it was deployed or not. You don’t buy that kind of stuff if there isn’t a threat, especially back in the day.

Ukraine and Israel have their own climate issues that they have to address. The Ukes are about to find out how bad batteries perform in the winter if they do not have internal heating within the battery or can siphon the heat off of the ESCs. Israel’s drones will need to be able to dump heat, which can be super easy or difficult, depending on the drones design. The big thing for Israel is where they store the batteries - hot car is a no-go. Also temperature when they recharge.

People do not consider that drones need a logistics tail just like everything else. For both countries this is where the weakness lies. This includes repair and maintenance shops. There are consumables on every platform that need to be periodically replaced, flight controllers have limited lives, etc. Where components are manufactured also figure into availability and therefore mission sets and capability - IOW, geopolitics affect the long-term use of such assets.

What they did is unclear whether it technically a nuclear explosion. It was done to improve detection of nuclear testing done on the sly by China. What is clear is nuclear testing by all parties will soon resume. The elephant in the room is China. No one know how many nukes they have. They have asceded but not ratified the nuclear non proliferation treaty which is quickly proving to be irrelevant to the possibility of nuclear conflict. China can create any level of technolgy and its weaponsd programs get the crem d la crem. The reason the China goods have been low quality is the importers specify the absaloute lowest quality buy them for pennys and sel them for dollars. The goods cost have been a incredibly small part of the cost of selling the goods and still are even though its gone up. I shudder to think of what chinas WMD programs have developed the c19 "events" revealing some things but also keepiong the narrative in play that China is backward and not a leader in WMD technology. Look at the missile cruisers they are churning out with standardised 24 missile vertical lauunch systems that they are also retrofitting on anything that floats. Are they any good? Think Athlon Chronus plus plus but as we see in recent events it doesnt really matter. You have to shoot air defense missiles to stop any missile attack if your enemy has ten times as many and yours cost ten times as much your munitions are quicly depleted. Which is exactly where Israel is out of air defense missiles and we dont have more to give them All the conventional munitions get expended leaving only WMDs as options to being over run. You dont need many air defense missiles if they utilize a nuclear warhead or you hit the enemy with a neutron bomb. At that point you just gave unlimited elk tags to everyone and the elk population approaches zero.

What no one wants to admit is that we took China from being a largely agriculture society to being a quasi leader in weapons technology by nature of transferring our entire production capability to them. The Chinese were stunned that we would destroy ourselves and said whatever they had to. USA still has a edge of some sort in innovation as a function of culture. The Chinese follow procedure very very well but innovate poorly because they are scared to step outside the box, Innovation is in some ways a function of autonomy and the Chinese are anything but autonomous, Thats changing too because innovation always follows production capabilities. A engineer simply must get hands on to become familiar with what is possible and more importantly what is not possible. That understanding allows the envelope to be pushed and breakthroughs that are sound but are outside the box. That understandiong is a function of economics as much as anything. There are young people in Shenzhen who have grown up in the electronic marketplace that know more about components than any USA engineer because ultimatly skill comes from getting your feet wet and China doesnt have their feet wet they are swimming.

Russia understood that the only chance of containing China was a partnership with the USA. They continued to hope but another dual national trying to kill therm in 2014 was simply too much. For eight long years they continued to hope then they resigned themselves to a subordinate position hoping their edge in technolgy will hold. The fact is they can not compete with the dragon rising either and they know it. Hope and change. They got the change part right.
