Got this beauty this weekend, now if I can just find some ammo.

Seekins Precision SP-10M
22" 6.5 Creedmoor
15" IMRT V3 Mlok handguard
Timney comp trigger
10X Stock

Nice grab. I really enjoyed my Seekins-based GAP10 Gen2 in 260. If the single stage Timney Comp isn't your bag on a precision AR (I prefer 2-stage for my precision rifles, goes back to my shooting NM M-14s) then the Geissele NM is awesome. I do run the Timney 3.5 Comp in my M4-gery though.

I hope it works out for you. I was told the peeing on the firing pin and the bolt lug damage was normal(zoom in to see)??

had a regrettable experience...

I like the Seekins rifles, I just couldn't get over the hump on their handguard. I like a slimmer profile on my gassers. They seem to get good reviews on here though.

That sucks.
The accuracy was first rate at .5 MOA. I believe I got a first run of 6.5 Creedmoor after they got the .260 out the door. I would buy another if I was guaranteed reliability.

Seekins aesthetics leave a lot to be desired. They make some ugly ass guns. Plus nothing like a priopitary upper that doesn't let you swap hand guards. Its 2021. Spiral fluting on their bolt guns?

I think the Sp10 handguards work great. Having that flat bottom is way more useable than a standard slim hand guard for positional shooting especially in a heavy framed AR.

As for the proprietary mounting system, it’s just that, proprietary and has a purpose in the form of rigidity. Does it make a difference?? Well I can’t say 100pct for sure with ar10’s. I have seen a difference with bipod pressures, especially at distance with some of the longer rails using an ar15 that didn’t have a vltor upper.

No doubt its usefull but you are married to that design forever with that gun. Styles changes and new innovations come out and especially in places where pre ban is a thing, you want flexibility.
