Rifle Scopes Spotting Scope

So just getting into long range shooting and looking to add a spotting scope to the kit bag. What do you guys recommend for good bang for the buck scopes for shooting out to 800 yards? Using a Vortex Viper G2 scope and can’t justify a spotting costing more than my rifle scope. Thanks for the advice.
