The match was today; Sunday, April 15th.
There are a total of 40-rounds fired for score; 10-rounds per target with 4-targets used.
There are two stages, each is 30-minutes long alowing unlimited sighters and requiring 20-rounds for score.

Lots of .223 rifles - even some AR's! Pretty darn good shooting at 1000 yards.

Could you explain the match with some more detail? It looks like you are combining the shooter's best string with their aggregate of X's.

Allow me to clarify the format etc.

My friends at Springwater are replicating what we do at Odessa.
An introduction to the F-Class format, albeit at <span style="font-style: italic">reduced distances </span>. They have a maximum rifle range distance of 185yds. Their targets are moa correct for the distance as ours are at Odessa. (We have 250yds this year)

There are a few at Springwater that shoot 2 guns and not necessarily in the same class. Still, it takes consistency to have a chance to finish at the top of their classes as posted.

There were 6 new shooters at Odessa on the 7th, and nearly as many of the same at Springwater. As I did at Odessa, the RO at Springwater gave an overview of the match format. Our matches are not "official"...they are intended as an introduction to F-Class and should you elect to travel to an official match (minimum distance 600yds per the NRA) you wont have to worry about what you will be doing when you wheel into the parking lot. As I said at Springwater, there are 2 questions you will have....where is registration and also the bathroom!

We do not award prizes/awards, only the experience of introduction and that competitive drive to post a perfect score. The winners get the the accolades of their shooting peers and I make damn sure that they get it.

How often are these held at Odessa and Springwater? I just came over from NYFIREARMS forum where Kevin has mentioned these shoots.
