According to Spuhr, model SA-4601, the AI mount will fit the CZ 452/453 dovetails.

Does anybody here have both of these, and if they could confirm it? Also, does it eject the spent rounds?

As long as the dovetail is the same width it should work. I just put an SA-4601 on my .17HMR Quad which also has an 11mm dovetail. The Spuhr fit well and the rifle has no ejection issues (that was a concern initially.) Down the road I'll put an SA-4801 and new scope on my .22LR Quad too.

Couldn't use the recoil stop pin in the Spuhr but on something like a .17HMR or .22LR just the clamping force of the dovetail is plenty adequate and I'd venture to say the Spuhr dovetail "bites" more aggressively than the multiple setscrews used in the slip-over picatinny rails.

If it ever moves I'll spotface the top of the receiver so it can engage with the removable recoil screw/pin in the Spuhr.

Verify your CZ, if I remember correctly the "American" models have 3/8" dovetails while all others have 11mm dovetails.

$450 scope mount on a $400 rifle......LOL

Only the cantilevers are $450, the dovetails & regular picatinny mounts are only $410 and then you can get a 5% discount from certain SH vendors... so technically it's a $389.50 mount on a $400 rifle. :D

Regardless, it's total overkill for a rimfire... but who's counting at this point. I paid more for the Manners stocks for each Quad than I did to initially purchase the rifles! ;)
