Just installed the SRT kit for the Sig 227...It sucks! I was told by Sig that, it's comparable to the Glock 21 reset, boy are they sadly mistaken. Our dept. is swapping the 21s for the 227s. Anybody else have the same issue?

What exactly "sucks"? Just the reset, the pull weight, grity pull, etc.? I used a SRT kit for a little while on a P226. I found it to be okay. While it shortened reset it really did nothing for trigger pull weight or smoothness. I have since gone back to a regular trigger mech and instead do the following:

If it's an older gun without the plastic mainspring seat:
Plastic Mainspring Seat (P/N 34280445)
Hammer Strut for plastic mainspring seat (.45 - P/N 34221155 or 9mm/.40/357 - P/N 34280446)
Wolff 19lb mainspring (hammer spring)

If it's a new gun already set up with the plastic mainspring seat:
Wolff 19lb mainspring (hammer spring)

I then do the following as outlined in the attached PDF document. It has made all the trigger pulls on all 4 of the guns I did it to extremely smooth. Given it takes more work but it does a much better job I feel than just dropping in roughly machined/cast/forged/mim parts.
