I'm looking at getting my first suppressor. After reading a review of the original SRT Shadow LM, I've decided it's the one I want. However, at 41 oz. it's a heavy thing. They have a titanium version that is 19 oz. with metric threads like I need, however I've been reading that having a lighter suppressor may in fact detract from performance, especially for the big calibers like the .338 Lapua. So I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this particular can. Does having the lighter cans affect decibel reduction, accuracy, or longetivity? Thanks for info.
